Q.1 Do I need any equipment or experience?
No special equipment or experience is needed. You simply buy the number or sms key word and advertise the service.
Q.2 When / how do I get paid?
We pay all revenues 45 days from the end of the month. This is to allow time to all collect monies from the various telecom companies. You will receive your revenue statement and payment on or around the 15th of every month. We make payments via BACS direct into your bank account, or to your PayPal account.
Q.3 How much will I earn?
The amount you can earn is directly related to the amount and quality of the advertising you do. Please see our Earning Potential page for full details.
Q.4 How long do I keep the number?
Your number is yours for life. Once they are advertised, premium rate numbers can often continue to generate revenue for years to come.
Q.5 Where do I start?
Visit our buy packages section and choose your service or package. Call us on 0844 736 2685 to pay your set up fee using a credit or debit card on the phone. You will then need to complete a short registration form and fax back the contract. Once your numbers are setup you can start advertising and promoting your service(s). We will assist you where possible with advertising and marketing.
Q.6 Which tariff is the best for premium rate services?
We offer 3 tariff options, 60p/min, £1.00/min or £1.50/min. Your choice of tariff will depend on your advertising campaign and how you want to market these services. If you have large advertising cost, you may want to consider a higher tariff to get some of the money back sooner, however you may experience a higher volume of calls using the 60p/min tariff for example. Making money from premium rate services is easily achievable but there are a lot of variables to consider when advertising your number for the best possible return potential.
Q.7 When I order a Premium Rate Number solution, how long do the lines belong to me, and are there any additional monthly or hidden fees?
The use of the lines will belong to you forever. You don’t pay a monthly or annual charge and there are no hidden fees. You choose and pay for your package and that is it. If you decide to add new services to your package you choose and pay for them accordingly, all are one off payments.
Q.8 What is the cost per call, and how much will I earn per minute on every call? Do you have minimum payouts?
You choose a user tariff from 60p, £1.00 or £1.50 per minute which is billed directly to their phone bill. Payout rates vary according to service, please call us on 0844 736 2685 fror more informaiton on payout rates for your chosen service(s). Payments are made 45 days in arrears from the month end, around the 15th day of every month. This is in-line with industry standards and takes into account a mandatory period to allow for network claw-backs and any other rare instances of call fraud to be investigated. You will be sent a revenue statement with your payment.
Q.9 How do I get started today?
Purchase one of our excellent packages today or contact us for set up advice on 8444 736 2685. You can purchase your package safely and securely on the phone. Once we have received your details and you payment has cleared, we can normally have your account and services active within 48 hours.
Q.10 I am interested in setting up a premium rate service with my own ideas and content, will you be able to handle that?

Q.11 Can anything go wrong?
One thing to keep in mind is chargebacks (this is when people dispute a charge on their phone bill). Say you get a complaint that a call was made from a house number without the permission of the person who pays the phone bill. If they can prove their phone was used without their permission they can ask for a chargeback. British Telecom have the right to deduct this money from your payment. Chargebacks normally occur if people have been ringing your premium rate number without the permission of the phone bill payer. Also British Telecom won't payout if they find calls to your premium rate numbers have been coming from stolen mobile phones or landlines where the bill has not been paid.
Q.12 Do I have to generate a minimum amount of revenue?
Yes, you have to generate £10.00 worth of calls in a months' period to qualify for payment.
Q.13 Do I need to be a registered company to set up a service with you?
No.

Q.1 How can I track the number of calls being made?
All our customers have access to our real-time online stats system. Here you will be able to track the number of calls being made, minutes generated and obtain daily and monthly call figures.
Q.2 What premium rate services do you offer?
Ready Made Telecom offers you a huge range of premium rate services. These include non adult and adult services ranging from live 121 chat, recorded stories and interactive lines. There is something for every premium rate portfolio.
Q.3 Do I have to answer the phone line and can I change the content of the line? Do I need expensive equipment to update and maintain?
Our ready made services do not require any input from you. All calls to our live ready-made solutions are handled 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The lines are completely automated and all the work is done for you! You don't need any equipment and the services are capable of handling hundreds of calls at the same time.
Q.4 What is the average length of a call?
The average call time will vary depending on the service. PhonepayPlus regulations limit the maximum length of a call in the UK to 20 minutes. An average call to one of our ready made services will typically last for approx 6-10 minutes. The chat line operators are experts and very effective at maintaining call length.
Q.5 Do these Premium Rate Services work abroad?
Our ready made services are only for use within the UK.

Q.1 How do people find out about my lines?
We have a wealth of knowledge that we are happy to share with you. We have a number of contacts in the advertising industry. Some of the marketing methods known to work well are pay-per-click campaigns, specialist websites, search engine marketing, print advertising, email list marketing and mobile list marketing.
Q.2 What rules do I have to comply with?
You must always comply with the rules and regulations specified by PhonepayPlus. You can download a free copy of the code of practice from the PhonepayPlus website. They can shut down your service, withhold payment and impose fines if they can prove you have broken their rules.
